Donna has over 25 years experience working with global toy, entertainment, consumer licensed products, CPG, FMCG, off-price and specialty retail organizations.  As former VP, Global Franchise Leader at Hasbro, Donna led the relaunch of My Little Pony from it's earliest stages of all new entertainment and oversaw all product development, new MLP branding, traditional, digital and social media marketing campaigns which catapulted the brand's growth to double and triple digits globally. She has also held executive leadership positions within advertising agencies, data, insights and consumer research companies leading global marketing, creative, new product development and IT teams.

 

As CEO & Chief Ideator of SKY-D8, a marketing consultancy and ideation studio she launched in 2018, Donna is currently a toy & licensing consultant on several iconic and new toy brands working with Basic Fun! of Boca Raton, FL. She is also leading key marketing and strategic initiatives for a newly launched arts & crafts brand and has developed multi-category product lines, written a children's book, as well as a TV pilot and full season of episodic log lines in tandem with the development of two of her own proprietary children's IPs.

 

Donna currently serves as a Women In Toys NYC Chapter Co-Chair and has won several awards including a WIT Wonder Women in Toy Award for her leadership and ability to re-invent brands and develop revenue-generating multi-category global franchise plans, brand positioning statements, and award-winning digital content and ad campaigns. She also specializes in inspiring collaborative team ideation, distinctive creative strategies and cutting-edge product development approaches to accelerate revenue growth.
